Results of Best Practices Study
Half of the responding agency programs operate without a formal strategic plan.
OPP and the Project Management Institute (PMI) completed a joint study to gain insight on how federal agencies set goals and measure performance, including data tracking methods.
Information was gathered from experienced staff members within six federal agencies. Results revealed that formal strategic goal setting and performance measurement is being used only about 60% of the time. Click Here for full Report >>.
OPP and PMI will be working on additional studies to gain insight into Government Best Practices.
Participation in all studies is by invitation only. All participating parties’ information and responses will be kept confidential and no persons or program details will be released to the public unless expressed permission is granted.
